Gandhi House emerged overall champions at the annual Inter-House Sports Meet of Regent International College, Gampaha, held at the Sri Bodhi ground recently. Out of the four units, Einstein House emerged runners-up behind Gandhi House pushing behind Lincoln and Churchill Houses.

The Sports Meet featured some spectacular opening and closing ceremonies, a blustering march past, a colourful drill display trained by Inoka Perera and a splendid Band performance of the College Brass Band trained by Sudintha Dilan.

The annual event was organised by the Department of Sports of the College headed by P.W. Jayawardane, Sports Coordinator with the patronage of the Managing Director Anura Gunasekera, Principal Mrs. C. Wickramaarachchi and the Vice Principal Ruwini Perera.

Major. Tharindu Weerasinghe, the International Representative of the Iceland Glima Association, Secretary of Sri Lanka Judo Association and President of Sambo Association of Sri Lanka graced the occasion as the chief guest.
