The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) in partnership with Media in Corporation and Transition (MiCT) of Germany conducted a three-day workshop on “Visualising Reconciliation” for photojournalists from December 15 to 17 at Hotel Mirage in Colombo.

The workshop’s objective was to bring about positive perspectives in photographs which promote peace and reconciliation. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Felix Koltermann (see picture, eighth from right, standing), research assistant and lecturer at the Institute for Media, Theatre and Popular Culture at the University of Hildesheim, Germany and Charlie M Saceda (7th from Right, standing), Chief Operating Officer of emMcomm from the Philippines.
The workshop was attended by 30 Sri Lankan photojournalists.
