Motivational speaker and Leadership coach Farill Farook recently clinched the prestigious Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the year (TOYP) award for the category Moral and/or environmental leadership organised by the Junior Chamber International (JCI). The award was presented by chief guest Prof. Sujeewa Amarasena at a ceremony held in Colombo recently.

JCI serves to formally recognise young people who excel in their chosen fields and create positive change around the world. Since 1980, JCI Sri Lanka honoured nearly 300 individuals from all around Sri Lanka through the TOYP.

Mr. Farook serves the community as a catalyst in leadership, motivation and personality development driving positive change and betterment to society. He has conducted over 400 workshops inspiring over quarter million individuals from students, youth, university under graduates and corporates from all walks of life across the island. In recognition for his contribution and commitment, he was also awarded a special grant from the US government to conduct Youth Leadership, Public Speaking and English education consecutively in 2016 and 2017 partnering with the American Centre, Colombo.
