Dinura Gunatilake of Hartley House emerged as the winner at the Inter-House Aquatic Meet 2017 Royal College in the event for students of Grade 3 swimmers. He won the first place with the gold medal in the One Length race – in Freestyle of 33.3metres with a timing of 33.23 seconds.
The Principal of Royal, B.A. Abeyratne presented the award to Dinura at the awards ceremony. Also present at the occasion were Senior Games Master M.A.M. Riyas, Swimming Master-in-charge T.D.C.P. Amaratunga, Head Coach Nishantha and Deputy Coach Kingsley Bandula.
