Metallica the heavy metal band made a smashing performance to a record breaking crowd of 22,211 fans at London’s O2 Arena on October 28. The four piece act formed in 1981 broke the previous record set by the rock band Muse in 2016. Metallica last released the album ‘Hardwired…to Self-Destruct’ in 2016. The band has sold over 120 million albums worldwide in their 36-years together.

Rap star Eminem who won a copyright lawsuit against the previous New Zealand ruling National Party last week has decided to donate the settlement from the case to the hurricane relief effort in the US. The 45-year old was awarded $700,000 New Zealand dollars for the unauthorised use of his song ‘Lose Yourself’ 186 times on TV advertisements of the then leader Sir John Key at the 2014 general election.

Ed Sheeran who suffered a fractured elbow and wrist recently following a cycling accident in England has announced he will resume his tour as schedule on 11th November in Singapore. However other dates in Taipei – Taiwan, Seoul – South Korea, Hong Kong and Jakarta – Indonesia have been cancelled altogether. However the 26 year old Sheeran has re-schedule his other Asian dates for April 2018 where he will perform in Manila on April 8, Osaka – Japan on 11th April and Tokyo on April 13 and 14.

Simon Cowell has been forced to miss the first X-Factor live show for this season after he met with an accident at his home on October 27. The 58 year had fallen dizzy while climbing the stairs at his London home and then blacked out owing to low pressure. He was admitted hospital but discharged the same day. The talent scout was forced to miss last weekend’s live shows. While his seat was left vacant on Saturday, singer Alesha Dixon the popular judge from Britain’s Got Talent stepped in for the Cowell on Sunday October 29. Cowell is expected back at his judge’s seat this weekend.

Selina Gomez will make her first public appearance after her kidney transplant. The 25 year old will perform her new song ‘Wolves’ with collaborator Marshmello at the American Music Awards on November 19 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.

Post Malone has completed a month at the top of the UK singles chart with ‘Rockstar’ as the song hit four weeks with an equal number of 50,000 downloads and streams. For Camile Cabello it has been another frustrating third week at the No: 2 position for her song ‘Havana’. But she could still have a chance to clinch the top sport next week.
