Shankar Foundation, India in association with Sunera Foundation, Sri Lanka  will present   an evening of dance and music featuring  “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” – A musical play by gifted children with special needs from India and Sri Lanka at 6.30 p.m. on August 23 at the Lionel Wendt Theatre, Colombo 7.

This programme is supported by the Indian Cultural Centre, Colombo to strengthen the cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Shankar Foundation  is an Indian NGO that nurtures children with special needs. The Sunera Foundation, Sri Lanka established in 2000 facilitates the fullest integration of young people with special needs into society.  Over the years their   pioneering work has brought together over 2500 young disabled people, who are given the opportunity to develop their creative talents in the fields of art, drama, dance and music.
