The 97th lecture of the National Trust, Sri Lanka’s monthly lecture series on ‘Buddhist heritage sites in ancient Bengal’ by Dr. Nilan Cooray will be held at the HNB Auditorium, 22nd Floor, HNB Towers, 479 T.B. Jayah Mawatha, Colombo 10 at 6.30p.m. on Thursday, July 27.

Dr. Nilan Cooray is a chartered architect and heritage conservationist with more than 25 years of experience in managing and conserving Sri Lanka’s cultural heritage. He has also published several books and articles on the conservation and management of built heritage. He is the Assistant Secretary General of the National Trust -
Sri Lanka, being a Trustee and the Joint Secretary of ICOMOS (Sri Lanka).
