The 13th Week count of the Dialog 4G-the Sunday Times Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year 2017 comes to an end with Navindu Nirmal of St. Aloysius College Galle continuing his lead of the All-Island Schools. Navindu added a collection of 9168 combined votes to take his tally to 86585 and take a comfortable lead from the rest.

His lead against Lasith Croospulle, who is placed second, is 16490 and with the present pace, beating Navindu will be a hard task. Lasith from Maris Stella College Negombo, for the fourth week running received the most number of combined votes, which is 9540 and his tally reads as 70095. Mohamed Najath of Zahira College has lost momentum but still has 2667 combined votes to take his tally to 56556. The gap between Lasith and Najath is 13539. Others in the list looks as if they are settled with their positions as the 20 names remain unchanged for yet another week.

The full list was pruned down to the Top 20 from last week and by end of April the list will be further cut down to 15. By end of May it will be shortlisted to the Top 10.
Pulitha Yasas Sri Sarathchandra of Sri Sumangala College Panadura continues to dominate the Emerging Schools category while the International Schools category is still led by Shimraz Shahil of Alethea International School.
