Enjoy Rukshan’s concert tonight and help a worthy cause
View(s):It’s today, and if you haven’t yet got your tickets for Rukshan Perera Live In Concert VII to be held at the Bishop’s College Auditorium this evening at 7 p.m., you still have a chance of seeing it. The concert is almost sold out, but a few tickets are available at Bishop’s College.
Rukshan’s concerts are always for a deserving cause, and this year he has partnered with the Royal College Union (RCU) to organize the concert and donate all the profits to TRAIL to build a cancer hospital in Karapitiya, Galle. Yes, there will be a special song dedicated for cancer patients titled “I’ll Keep Fighting”.
Rukshan will be joined by The De Lanerolle Brothers, Clifford Richards, Little Sopranos, and supported by a brass ensemble, violins, flutes, percussion and others. His last year’s live concert is now available on DVD at Torana (Liberty Plaza) and is recommended for those who enjoy live creative original music.
