Major promotion for Pure Ceylon Tea in Russia

Minister of Plantation Industries Naveen Dissanayake, Chairman of Sri Lanka Tea Board Rohan Pethiyagoda and with Managing Director Hyson Tea (Pvt) Ltd Lushantha de Silva (see picture) visited ‘Prodexpo2017’, the 24th International Exhibition for Food Beverages and Raw Materials, held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow Russia from February 6 to 10.
The minister inaugurated the Ceylon Tea pavilion at the exhibition as part of his Ceylon Tea promotional tour. His itinerary includes meetings with officials of the Department of Agriculture, Chamber of Commerce and RusTeaCoffee Association. Hyson Tea is the brand marketing subsidiary of Empire Teas (Pvt) Ltd, currently ranked (2016) as Sri Lanka’s third largest tea exporter.
