‘A Green Christmas’ by St. Benedict’s College
View(s):St. Benedict’s College, Colombo 13 will host its annual Carol Service titled “A Green Christmas” on Tuesday, December 20 at St. Lucia’s Cathedral Kotahena.
This inclusive service will contain the very best in classical Christmas music and is expected to last no more than one hour and 30 minutes.
The entrance procession will commence at 7 p.m. and will be led by the acclaimed choir of St. Benedict’s College, who will continue rendering rare arrangements of traditional Christmas Carols accompanied by the Colombo Brass Ensemble.
Appearances by Choro Benedicte and Voice Print will no doubt provide the variety required. The programme in the cathedral will conclude with a grand finale performance by all choirs combining to comprise a 150-voiced combined choir.
