Further strengthening its commitment to sustainability on all fronts, the iconic Galle Face Hotel is dedicating the month of October to focus on charitable activities. The heritage hotel has been at the forefront of sustainable tourism and is also closely engaged in other social responsibility and philanthropic projects. One of its main annual initiatives is to channel a portion of the proceeds from its popular Afternoon Tea to the Breast Cancer Awareness Charity, The Pink Ribbon Foundation. Once again this year, a portion of the per head cost for the Afternoon Tea rate will be contributed to the Pink Ribbon Foundation, which is an internationally operating charity organisation aimed to create a global community to support breast cancer patients, survivors and their families all over the world.
