Belgian-French 3D computer-animated comedy film “Robinson Crusoe”, a film on a daring parrot who recounts how Robinson Crusoe came to be stranded on a tropical island-is now being screened at Majestic Cineplex, Empire Arcade, Savoy 3D and Excel World.

Directed by Vincent Kesteloot and Ben Stassen, the film is loosely based on Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe, but from the point of view of the island’s animals.

On a tiny exotic island, Tuesday, an outgoing parrot lives with his quirky animal friends in paradise. However, Tuesday can’t stop dreaming about discovering the world. After a violent storm, Tuesday and his friends wake up to find a strange creature on the beach: Robinson Crusoe. Tuesday immediately views Crusoe as his ticket off the island to explore new lands.

The film also is screened at 4.15 pm at Lido 3D – Borella and City Cinema – Mt. Lavinia.
