The Bail application in the ‘ragging case’ of eight Kelaniya University undergraduates was postponed to August 1.
When the case was taken up on July 20, Gampaha High Court Judge Kema Swarnadipathi postponed it because of State Counsel’s absence.

Students’ Counsel, Prasanna Lal de Alwis P.C. informed court that the students had been in Police remand custody for over 75 days and hence, requested Bail on their behalf.
