DIMO organises Mercedes-Benz Star Experience in the city of Gems
View(s):Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) recently organised a ‘Mercedes-Benz Star Experience’ event at Silver Ray Hotel, Ratnapura. Mercedes-Benz owners, jeep owners and potential customers in the Ratnapura district and the vicinity were invited to this event. Invitees experienced the latest Mercedes-Benz vehicle range which included the Mercedes-Benz C 180, Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, Mercedes Benz GLE SUV, New Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Mercedes-Benz Vito, Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Jeep Wrangler, a media release issued by the company said.
The highlight of the evening was the introduction of the latest Mercedes-Benz E-Class to the invitees, which was followed by the handing over of the first new E-class by Gahanath Pandithage (Group CEO – DIMO) to a customer. This new E‑Class marks the world premiere of numerous technical innovations. They enable comfortable, safe driving on a new level plus a new dimension in driver assistance – among other things. The vehicle comes complete with infotainment and control systems offering an all-new experience.
An optional new multi-chamber air suspension system additionally ensures outstanding ride comfort together with first-class driving dynamics. Innovations including the Active Lane-change Assistant which allows the driver to effortlessly steer into the selected lane, make the E-Class the most intelligent saloon in the executive class. The all new E-Class is now being displayed at DIMO 800 – “Mercedes-Benz Centre” in Colombo.
