Reference to your story last week under the above heading, I have a few suggestions to improve facilities for tourists. For example there should be soap in the toilets at the Department of Immigration and Emigration office at Ananda Rajakaruna Mawatha, Colmbo. How much is a bar of soap? This is on the 3rd floor where tourists come to extend their visas. Another problem is that many people are seen openly urinating wherever it’s convenient. Imagine coming with your family and you see someone urinating in public; how do you explain this to young children? Furthermore clean up Negombo beach where there is broken glass from whisky and beer bottles. A simple solution is to have more rubbish bins.
