SriLankan Catering to raise $150 mln from IPO

SriLankan Catering (Pvt), part of SriLankan Airlines, has issued Request for Proposals (RFP) to select an investment bank in a bid to list a significant stake of 30 per cent to 49 per cent in the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) under economic reform plans announced by the Prime Minister, officials said.

“Some investment banks have already responded,” an official told the Business Times, adding that SriLankan Catering is targeting to raise US$ 150 million. SriLankan Catering, the sole airline caterer operating at the Bandaranaike International Airport, will be the first state-owned enterprise to be listed on the CSE.
