Even though your editorial last weekend mocked my speech in St Petersberg where I said our new government’s fight against corruption was not restricted to rhetoric, I am sure you would appreciate that it was perhaps the first time in this country a Cabinet minister resigned this week on an allegation of conflict of interest.

If this is not a paradigm shift from the previous regime I wonder what would be? What I articulated at the UN Convention Against Corruption of zero tolerance is indeed the new government’s goal.
