The third and final One Day International (ODI) between Sri Lanka and West Indies was interrupted by rain at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy at the time of the newspaper going to press. West Indies, who were put into bat, were in bad shape at 105 for the loss of 6 wickets with Marlon Samuels unbeaten on 50 when rain halted play.

The match was interrupted by the rain more than once and the weather condition was not showing any improvement since play was stopped for closer to one hour. Sri Lanka has already snatched up the three-match ODI series 2-0 . – Pic by Shantha Ratnayake
