‘Sadaya Marai Salli Hamarai’
A Sinhala adaptation of British playwright Ray Cooney’s ‘Funny money’ goes on the boards under the directorial vision of Dharmapriya Dias as ‘Saadaya Maarai Salli Hamarai’ on October 9 at 3.30 pm and 6.45 pm S De S Jayasinghe hall in Dehiwala.
The cast consist of Gihan Fernando, Jayani Senanayke, Giriraj Kaushalya, Dayadewa Edirisinghe, Anuradha Perera, Aloka Sampath, Anuradha Mallawarachchi and Dharmapriya Dias.
This play won the Best actor , Best Actress and Best stage manager at the State Drama festival 2015.
The adaptation is done by Saman Pushpa Liyanage, stage lightings by Ranga Samarakone, set designing by Wasantha Ranasinghe, stage manager is Aruna Jayasena, costume designer is Gihan Fernando, make up by Premjayanth Kapuge and music is by Ruwan Walpola.
