There was quite a bit of hustle and bustle when the new Sports Boss visited the office of a popular sport where the game is played with the willow. Officials of the sport tried to keep the media out of the session. The Sports Boss who was aware of the happenings had told a few of his friends that these officials were either trying to cover up their faults or are trying to make him popular.

IN TWO MINDS
Still doing his rounds the new Sports Boss visited the Medical Unit. The boss of this unit has been having a long stint. According to sportsmen and women this unit is of no great help as the head of the unit is aged and weak. Now the Sports Boss is in two minds whether to change him or not.

NO PROBLEM
Before the new Sports Boss took office another name was floating around for the post. The other name was gladly greeted by an official of the game played with the willow as he had attended school with him. The new Sports Boss got wind of this and had told a few of his friends that there was ‘no problem’. It looks as if this individual had worn his swimming trunks long before reaching the waves.

IN SEARCH OF GREENER PASTURES
Before the football body had its AGM an official was hard at work trying to be the boss of this game before he was ousted. This official had even gone around trying to promote the game at grass root level. But after he was ousted he was missing. It has now been revealed that he has gone abroad, maybe for good. Perhaps he has gone in search of greener pastures.

‘YAHAPALANAYA’
The ‘yahapalanaya’ which is on everybody’s lips these days has done a great deal of good to the sport played with the willow. Almost everybody had got thumping salary increments, except for those at the interim level. It is said that section is not permanent and that is why they have been overlooked. Will the ‘yahapalanaya’ come to their rescue?

EVERYBODY’S FAVOURITE
Everybody at this sports centre expected a certain lady to be expelled because she had changed a bill amounting to Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 16, 000. But when the list of those whose terms were extended by another year was put up on the notice board, her name led the list! It is said that this lady is a favourite amongst the bosses.
