‘Hunuwataya’ in Borella
View(s):“Hunuwataye Kathawa”, well-known theatre production of late Henry Jayasena, inspired by Bertolt Brecht’s ‘Caucasian Chalk Circle’ will go on the boards at 8.15 am and 10.45 am on September 16 at Y.M.B.A.Theatre Borella.
The play stars Nalin Pradeep Uduwela, Ruvini Manamperi, Prasanajith Abeysooriya, Nimal Jayasignhe, Indika Ferdinando, Niluka Rajamanthri, Lalith Janakantha and Chamika Hathlahawatte in the main cast.
The lighting effects is managed by Upali Weerasinghe while renowned musician Shelton Premarathne’s music colours up the play.
The play was translated by late Mr. Jayasena and is organised by Jude Srimal.
