Tsunami
An earthquake, submarine, landslide or volcanic eruption can trigger a tsunami. Travelling at the speed of a jet aircraft, tsunamis cross entire oceans in a few hours! When they crash into the coast, you don’t want to be near these ‘walls of water/’
If you hear a tsunami warning or the sea retreats, leave the beach and head towards high ground. Remember that tsunamis sometimes come in sets, with as much as two animals behaving strangely. They seem to know when a tsunami is coming.

Communication then and now
Communication is a process by which information is exchanged between individuals through a common system of signs or behaviour. As time passed, various noises were made and languages were developed.

Until the telephone was invented, point to point communication did not exist. With that invention, messages could be conveyed verbally or through telegrams or cables. The other revolution in communication was the invention of printing press and the system of publishing newspapers bound all the countries in the world together.

The modern day modes of communication are mobile phones and the Internet. The owner of the mobile phone could give verbal messages of short messages to be read. Even the caller’s number is displayed on the screen. On the other hand, the Internet system is more efficient in various ways. The user is able to get any information of the world in a short time by visiting any website and the user could deliver any message worldwide.
Even newspapers could be read on the Internet.
What a marvel!

An interesting day
One day I went to an exciting park.
I went there with grandmother, father, mother and my uncle. It was so much fun. I was so happy when we entered to the park.
There was a roller coaster, sky train, swimming pool and an aquarium in the park. My mother and I enjoyed the sky train and she was very scared.

I enjoyed in another thing. It was a roller coaster. It was so much fun. I watched an exciting 3D movie. I went to the big bouncer. I was so happy and I went to the canteen and ate fried rice. After that, I went to a rose garden.
I enjoyed the day happily.

A robot
Crimp cromp! I’m a robot. I was made in a world famous factory in Japan called ‘Jin Yuen.’ The engineers who made me named me ‘Lin Jun.’ When I opened my eyes suddenly the engineers who made me and all the other engineers started to cheer.
I was so happy. I looked around. I saw some beautiful flowers called Sakura through the window. I looked at my body. I was black, blue and white in colour. After the engineers double-checked me, they put me in a box. They sent me to a big shop. Many people come to the shop when it opened.

An English boy came to the shop with his father. He wanted a robot like me, who does logical comparisons, Maths sums, Science, cleaning places and who helps to do homework. The English boy had a little conflict because he couldn’t choose the best robot of all. But his best choice was me. And in a beautiful a/c car they took me to their home.

I found the boy’s name was Steven. He chose me a name as ‘Stephan.’ Steven made me his best friend. Now I can help him a lot. He takes care of me. He feeds me oil twice a day. I love him as high as the sky and he loves me.

Flowers

Flowers are beautiful and in many colours. Since ancient times, flowers play a very important place in society. They are used in religious activities, weddings and funerals. At the same time, we use flowers to express our feelings. People use them for decoration. People like to grow plants in the houses
Flowers beautify the environment.
Bees and butterflies suck honey from flowers. I love flowers a lot. I have so many kinds of flowers in my garden.
