IronOne Technologies has announced the launch of ‘ATrad Mobile’ for investors to access the Colombo Stock Exchange for real-time market information, and to trade securely via their smartphones. ’ATrad Mobile’ has easy to use stock trading features and capabilities that allow clients to securely trade stocks, track and manage portfolios and market movements, as well as analyse industry research and trends, according to a company statement.

Lakmini Wijesundera, Chief Executive Officer of IronOne Technologies, said:
“The launch of ATrad Mobile is timely because the CSE has encouraged the industry and all the broker firms to adopt new technology trends to be ready for global investment opportunities. ATrad Mobile expands accessibility beyond the traditional desktop or laptop. In Sri Lanka alone there are 19 million mobile phone subscribers while the number of desktops or laptops lags around 6 million. Therefore, easy mobile access immediately opens up CSE trading and market access by more than tenfold.”

She said globally too, similar trends apply in terms of desktops and laptops vs mobile devices penetration and “hence we are excited to see the boom in CSE trading”.

ATrad Mobile’s innovative technology has a plug and play approach and is easy to start using as it works on any type or size of mobile device such as an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Android Tab or a Windows phone among others.
