It would appear that is harder to get out of the Sri Lanka XI than it is to get in and some of them should really “Get Out”.
Against Pakistan the fielding was for want of a private word, Atrocious. Two fielders ran for the same catch, bumped into each other and missed it, when it would have been simpler for one of them to call out “mine” and taken it.

I think the bowling is the weakest department, although they did have the batsmen in two minds, whether to hit the ball for a four or six!

If the team is going to lose, with all those “Golden Oldies”, then may as well lose and give some promising youngsters a game.
The selectors are not blameless and they should have the courage of their convictions and select less Has-Beens.
