On the very first day of their journey, they had to face the city romp – taking on tasks within the metro city areas of Colombo, Pettah and Fort. Challenging tasks were successfully completed by all ten teams and the second day saw them at the picturesque Kithulagala adventure camp where the biggest thrill was, of course, white water rafting.

The Sri Lanka International University Romp-2015 organized by the Department of Marketing Management of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau was held from June 11-12 at Colombo and Kithulgala.

Earlier over 100 participants were at the opening ceremony representing local and foreign universities. The closing ceremony and awards night of SLIUR-2015 ‘Strangers’ was at Rivinka Greenside Hotel Homagama with entertainment presented by the students of the Marketing Management Association, adding glamour to the evening. All participants were awarded for their dedication, team spirit and participation. “Nallur Rio Lovers” were the deserving champions of Sri Lanka International University Romp -2015 “Strangers” and received their award from chief guest Milanka Gajanayake of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau.
