Knowledge-based economies in ancient civilizations like India and Sri Lanka, have become part of our historical traditions. To promote this, former Indian president and eminent scientist A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will be coming to Sri Lanka this month to deliver the keynote address at an international energy conference on the theme “Energy for a knowledge based economy”.
