Former Royal College rugby player now Chartered Accountant Priyan Rajapaksa, launched his maiden book “Business Scrums and Skirmishes” at
Supreme Court Justice Anil Gooneratne speaking at the launch
the CR and FC pavilion on Thursday evening.
Mr. Rajapaksa who advises on small businesses in New Zealand has compared the management of such enterprises to a game of rugby football.
Former Sri Lankan cricketer and ruggerite Nirmal Hettiarachchi, a successful businessman in a brief review of the book states: “Interesting concepts and a novel approach. Written with warmth and simplicity and amusing to boot. Overall a good effort for a first attempt. If your micro business isn’t successful there is always another option.”
Supreme Court Justice Anil Gooneratne spoke at the launch.
The book is published by Lake House Printers.
