‘Funny Money’ goes on the board

A Sinhala adaptation of British playwright Ray Cooney’s play ‘Funny Money’ goes on the boards under the directorial vision of Dharmapriya Dias as “Saadaya Maarai Salli Hamari” on May 23 at 7.00 pm at British School in Colombo.

In 2014 State drama festival this play won the awards for Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Stage management.

The cast will be consisted of Gihan Fernando, Jayani Senanayake , Giriraj Kaushalya , Anuradha Perera , Dayadewa Edirisinghe,Dharmapriya Dias ,Premjayantha Kapuge , Aloka Sampath and Anuradha Mallawaarachchi.

The adaptation is done by Saman Pushpa Liyanage while stage lightings is done by Ranga Samarakone. Set designing – Wasantha Ratnayake, stage manager Aruna Jayasena , costume designer- Gihan Fernando ,make up- Prem Jayantha Kapuge, music – Ruwan Walpola and line producer is Ranga Samarakoon. The play is produced by Priyankara De Silva.
