A committee probing alleged malpractices of the former administration at the Sri Lanka Tourism Authority (SLTA) handed over its report to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Friday.

Present on the occasion was Tourism and Sports Minister Navin Dissanayake.

The 3-member ministerial committee comprised former Public Administration Ministry Secretary (Chairman) D. Dissanayake, former Deputy Treasury Secretary N. Padmanathan and a retired private sector executive Rusli Hussein.

Meanwhile former SLTA Chairman Bhashwara Gunaratne and Tourism Promotion Bureau Managing Director Rumy Jaufer have been already charged in courts for alleged malpractices.
