Asia Pacific Elite Entrepreneurs Association (AEEA) has linked up with Vican Holdings Pvt Ltd to make its presence in Sri Lanka to mould successful entrepreneurs within the Asia Pacific region providing necessary training and education and other assistane, officials of the company revealed.

The association comprising the top 30 elite entrepreneurs and investors from all 30 provinces of China and countries – Singapore and Taiwan is to set up a representative office in Sri Lanka to organise various summits, seminars, business activities, training and education, business study and exchange programmes for the benefit of local entrepreneurs, they said. In China alone, this platform gives access and exposure to attract 30 members into 30 provinces which accumulates to 900 lucrative investors.

The AEEA has recognised Vican Holdings as the young emerging entrepreneurs of Sri Lanka.

Surendran Kanagaratnam, Director Vican Holdings Pvt Ltd (Sri Lanka) and Kingdom Business Solutions Pte Ltd (Singapore), was appointed as the Chief Representative of the association recently at its inauguration ceremony for AEEA’s 7th Term of Council held under the patronage of its President Sunny Yew.

The association appointed Shehan De Silva, Director Vican Holdings Pvt Ltd (Sri Lanka) and Kingdom Business Solution Pte Ltd (Singapore) as its deputy representative.

Mr. Kanagaratnam told the Business Times that 75 Chinese and Singaporean investors will be visiting Sri Lanka next month to attend a formal meeting and explore investment opportunities and partnerships in Sri Lanka.

Local members and businessmen will have access to these investors from China and Singapore for match-making during their stay in the island, he disclosed.

He pointed out that Vican Holdings is involved in financial consultancy services including foreign exchange, money markets, capital markets, derivatives and commodities trading. The company has guided and handled investments and transactions for Delmege Group, ACL Cables, Aitken Spence and Odel among others.
