Leadership Awards sponsored by The Daily Mail newspaper. The ceremony in London was attended by the British Prime Minister David Cameron.
Pesala Bandara, 26, was born in London and educated at Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls in Elstree, Hertfordshire. She read English at the University of Warwick and gained a distinction for her masters degree. She is a partner at News Dog Media and currently lives in the West Midlands.

She is the eldest daughter of Dr. Gamini Bandara and Carmaline Bandara and grand-daughter of late Denister Perera and Mrs. Annette Perera from Uyana, Moratuwa.
