Jet Airways adds second service from Colombo to Mumbai

Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has added a second frequency from Colombo to Mumbai from November 5, the airline said.
The introduction of this new flight will offer “seamless access” to the airline’s primary hub at Mumbai and beyond to Far East, Europe, US, Canada and to the Gulf. Operating a state of the art Boeing 737 aircraft, Jet Airways’ guests can now avail of same day return on this route, especially for those traveling on business, the airline said in a media release.

Jet Airways flight 9W 251 will depart Colombo at 2135 hours (LT) and arrive Mumbai at 0015 hours. The return flight 9W 252 will depart Mumbai at 1805 hours and arrive in Colombo at 2035 hours (local time).

The introduction of this evening flight complements the early morning flight from Colombo to Mumbai.

Jet Airways Chief Executive Officer, Cramer Ball, said, “Jet Airways is delighted to introduce an evening service, to Mumbai from Colombo, following increased demand from the trade and tourist traffic. This flight will enhance seamless connectivity to the Far East, Europe, North America and Gulf through our hub in Mumbai. We are confident this direct service to and from Mumbai will prove immensely popular with our guests”.
