Expolanka honoured at LACP USA once again, among top 25 in the world

Expolanka Holdings PLC won three awards for its ‘Look | See’ Annual Report 2013/14 at the recently concluded Spotlight Awards Global Communications Competition by the League of American Communications Professional (LACP).

Expolanka claimed the 24th spot amongst the top 100 world rankings, winning a Gold Award for excellence within its competition class as well as a Silver Award for the ‘Best Narrative’. In 2013, Expolanka ranked at 36 amongst the top 100 world rankings, according to a company announcement.

Commenting on the win, Paddy Weerasekera, Head of Marketing, Corporate Communications and CSR – Expolanka Holdings PLC said, “With each passing year we try to raise the bar of the communication materials to our stakeholders. This recognition is proof that we have succeeded in doing so.”

He added, “This year we used the Annual Report to let our stakeholders see beyond the surface into our authentic identity, business model and the future we envision.”

The report was conceptualized and designed by Optima Designs PVT LTD and the production handled by Gunaratne Offset (Pvt) Ltd.
“This year’s entry for Expolanka Holdings PLC, “Look | See” proves to be remarkable in light of tremendous competition,” said Christine Kennedy, LACP Managing Director. “Approximately 1,500 entries were submitted, exemplifying a dozen of countries and 300 entities, making the competition exceptionally tough.”
