14th Senior Citizens Scrabble Tournament a grand success
View(s):The All-Island Senior Citizens Scrabble Tournament, held at the Colombo Hilton, was a grand success with the seniors recording excellent scores amidst stiff competition.
In the picture are some of the winners: (From left) Wimal Fernando, Lakshman Cooray, Sita Attygalle – Champion B Division, Shaila Amalean -Champion A Division and Doreen Sappideen.
A Division is played according to the Collins Scrabble Dictionary and B Division according to the Oxford English Dictionary.
