The Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) is holding its inaugural Entrepreneurial Forum “Dare to Be Different’: The COYLE Sampath Bank Entrepreneurial Forum” on October 1st.

The forum will involve a panel of exceptional entrepreneurs and impact leaders in the areas of ICT, consumer goods, and infrastructure development to an audience of business managers and future leaders, COYLE said in an announcement.

The main objective of the forum is to highlight and share success stories, encourage through possibilities and empower through opportunities.
The panel of successful entrepreneurs comprises Kushan Kodituwakku, Managing Director, Orange Electric Company; Dinesh Saparamadu, CEO, hSenid Software International; Manjula Narayana, Chairman, NMK Holdings (Pvt) Ltd and Ruwan Edirisinghe, Director, RN Constructions (Pvt) Ltd.

“Keynote speaker at this forum is respected entrepreneur Merrill J Fernando, who has gained international and local acclaim for his outstanding work in taking his homegrown brand of Ceylon tea, Dilmah to the world. Mr. Fernando will share his story of success as a prelude to this significant event,” the association said.

“Entrepreneurs are a driving force behind this nation’s business growth and they play an important part in improving the quality of life of individuals around this country. They also represent an integral and dynamic business mandate,” said Sanjaya Jayaratne, Chairman COYLE Chairman and Managing Director Citihealth.

COYLE has been continuously focusing on promoting entrepreneurial development and been actively involved in dialogue, discussions and representations to create a business-friendly environment in the country. “Our goal is to facilitate innovative partnerships that build a more sustainable, equitable and inclusive national economy,” he added.

The Forum will be held at the Kingsbury Hotel starting at
4.15 pm.
