“Kandaksema” to be adapted for the silver screen
View(s):“Kandaksema”, a short story by award-winning writer Sumithra Rahubadda will soon be adapted for the silver screen, with the author herself handling the screnplay. The cast includes Nirosha Perera, Siril Wickramage, Wasantha Kotuwalla, Chandani Seneviratne, Kaushalya Pranandu, Lakshman Mendis. Vishvajith Gunasekera, Priyankara Rathnayake,Bimal Jayakody, Upali Thilakarathne Anura Bandara Rajaguru, Samanali Fonseka , Buddhika Mahesh and Dinith De Silva. The movie will consist of a large amount of footage from Japan
The film will be directed by Ashoka Athayuydahetti and produced by Samanmali Pathmakumara, Jayarathna Hettiarachchi and Professor Ashu Marasinghe along with Tao Nashimoto as the Coordination Director.
