J. K. Rowling. There are seven
Harry Potter stories. They are

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and Lord Voldemort (Dark Lord) are the main characters. The best place in the world is: my home garden

Many poets have written poems about many places in the world. But I think that the best place in the world is my home garden. My home garden has always given me solace and has taken me from reality to a fairyland.

The lovely roses nodding their pink heads, the giant trees looking so kind and shady have always made me feel warm and welcoming. When I have nothing to do, I lie on the fresh, soft bed of grass and gaze at the clear, blue sky. Such little habits help me greatly and I get back to my daily work with a relieved mind.

Though many people have different hobbies, I chose gardening as I love and admire my garden very much. Sowing, weeding, watering etc., are so much fun and I can’t help glowing with pride when my mother plucks the first harvest from my garden and cooks them for dinner. All my family members appreciate me and it boosts my self esteem. Different types of plants and trees in my garden help us in various ways. The fruit and vegetable bearing plants provide us with fresh food and so most of our money is saved too!

But the best of all is the flowers.
I love them, not only for their beauty but for the valuable lesson that they teach us as well. The beauty we enjoy from a newly bloomed flower turns to sadness when we see it wilting. It shows us our fate in this world.
So, I think that a home garden is a place which teaches us many things needed for life which can’t be taken by reading books, fulfilling our daily needs and bringing solace to our stressed minds. Just as William Wordsworth the great poet once said, “A garden is just like a friend, whenever I’m in a vacant or pensive mood.”

The Hat Vendor
I had read ‘The Hat Vendor.’ That book has very
beautiful drawings. That’s why I like to read it. The book gives us a good lesson. Never take things that do not belong to you. Similarly don’t become fools by
trying to copy others.
So my dear friends, try to find the book ‘The Hat Vendor’ and read it.

A rose speaks
I bloom early in the
morning. Then the soft breeze lulls me and adorns me with a crown of dew.
I am rose in colour. Hence all call me ‘The Rose.’ My petals are soft and smooth. When my fragrance spreads in all ten directions, the whole surrounding become
cheerful.
Then, all trees and
creepers lying around look at me and murmur in a soft voice, “whatever the
flowers that bloom in this
flower-bed, no flower is as beautiful as the rose.”
It is up to me that
beautiful butterflies fly first. They say that I am the queen of the world of flowers. When I sway in the wind, the bees dance with joy.
Tiny flowers keep looking at me contentedly. Almost every flower is very friendly with me. Only the
anthurium flowers shoot a sardonic look at me now and then.

My favourite author
Out of all the authors who have written children’s books, my favourite is Enid Blyton. She has written lots of wonderful books
including ‘The Famous Five’, ‘Secret Seven’ and ‘Noddy.’ Enid Blyton has written lots of fairytales too. ‘Wishing Chair’ and ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ are some of them.

The main characters of the  Famous Five are Dick, Julian, George, Anne and Timmy. Now I have read  19 books written by her. Today her books are translated into more than  40 languages and they are available in videos and teledramas.

Enid Blyton’s books are full of excitement and laughter. Her books will also help to develop our English language. She died when she was  71 years old. Enid Blyton cheers most hearts of children by writing  interesting books. She’s a world famous children’s author.

Causes of obesity in human beings
In the past people were healthy. Because they were very active.
They hadn’t any electric machines. Then they did their own work by themselves. But now, the situation is very  different. People always eat fast
foods. These foods are full of carbohydrates and oil. It causes obesity. Then people will be fat.  Not only that, but also there are electric machines. People wash their clothes by washing machines and cook their meals by cooking machines. Then there is no work for them to do.

Some people spend hours in front of the television and computers. That means they don’t do any exercise in their leisure time. People travel by vehicles even a small distance instead of walking. Today, lots of people are not healthy. Being obese is not good for the health. When people are obese they fall ill and new hospitals have to be opened.  We must practice a simple life pattern and keep our body healthy.
