Broken, scarred, humiliated, manipulated… These don’t even begin to describe the emotions of women who are abused or violated in their own homes. These young people believe it is time to make a change, to help those living under the overbearing shadow of abuse to stand up to the injustice and take control of their lives.

The interns of the Citibank-Unilever-Virtusa International Summer Programme 2014, in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce and the Youth Awareness Programme on Gender Based Violence, will hold “D.A.S H.” (Domestic Abuse Stops Here) – an evening of performing arts and talent fusion to raise awareness against domestic violence and abuse and in support of the youth campaign “Real Men Don’t Abuse”.

The show will be on Saturday, August 9 from 7 p.m. at the Park Street Mews.
