Lady Ridgeway Hospital gets CRRT machine

A Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) machine, important in the treatment of dengue patients during the critical phase, was donated to the Medical Intensive Care Unit of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital (LRH) for Children, Colombo, on June 24.

The donation was made by the Access Group in memory of eight-year-old Seyarra Fernando who died in October 2013.

The chief guest was First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa. Access Chairman Sumal Perera and his wife, Access Director (Medical Services) Shamal Perera and LRH Director A.L.A.L. Padmasiri were also present.
