The Cargills Group is mulling the future of its beer business with a possible exit as one of the options, stock market sources said.
Three Coins Beer, which the company bought three years ago for Rs. 1.43 billion is marketed by Cargills through its subsidiary Millers Brewery. The sources said that various options are being explored. Cargills produces Three Coins, Sando Stout, 3-Coins Riva, Irish Dark and Grand Blonde brands. The group has recently been looking at its non-core business portfolio and options available.
