Two Thilinis in women’s final
Thilini Hendahewa and Thilini Jayasinghe shuttled their way into the women’s final at the 7th SSC ranking badminton tournament continued at the club indoor stadium yesterday.

In the first semi final, Thilini Hendahewa beat Lekha Shehani in two straight sets 21/15, 21/19.
R.S. Kasun won his Men’s quarters clash
In the second semi final, Thilini Jayasinghe was taken to a three setter by Nadeesha Gayanthi before emerging winner 21/14, 12/24, 21/15.
In a mixed doubles quarter final, Thilini Jayasinghe and Hasitha Chanaka beat Yasmitha Vedamulla and Thisal Yatawara 21/17, 21/05. The finals of the tournament will be played today at the same venue.
