‘Premeye Mahimaya’: Gospel songs on CD
View(s):A new festive CD- ‘Premeye Mahimaya’ created by Visharada Rev Father Edmond Thillekeratne will be launched at a ceremony on Tuesday, 10 December at St. Joseph’s College, Maradana.
The lyrics and the music composition of the CD- ‘Premeye Mahimaya’ was done by Father Edmond himself and the professional vocals were rendered by veterans such as Amarasiri Peiri, Nirosha Virajini, Chandana Liyanarchchi, Nelu Adikari, Amal Perera, and Surendra Perera.Prasantha Fernando, Mario Ananda, Ransika Fonseka too joined with them in singing these Gospel songs.
The lyrics are based the words of God and bring out God’s intervention in human life. These spiritual song are of semi classical nature with devotional flavour’ explained Father Thillekeratne.
