The bank has stepped in to facilitate several Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) transactions in the island including the Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Asia’s super luxury hotel project, Anirvan Ghosh Dastidar, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank, Colombo revealed at a media round table in Colombo on Wednesday.

He said that Sri Lanka will get a great opportunity to promote FDI by showcasing its potential to foreign business delegates participating in next week’s Commonwealth Business Forum.
