Popular band Misty led by Rajitha Rupasinghe and Marians led by Nalin Perera will come alive for the first time in concert at Musaeus College Auditorium on 30 June.  This musical extravaganza is undoubtedly going to be a ‘One of a Kind’, event as ‘Black Pepper Entertainment’ bringing the local pop giants – Marians and the most wanted dance band in Colombo – Misty to one stage.

Black Pepper Entertainment, the emerging event management company, after their ‘Sing-along’ event with Marians in November 2012, held at Mount Lavinia Hotel, is making elaborate arrangements to stage this two giants together for four hours of solid music.

Misty entered the local music arena when dynamic vocalist Rajitha expanded the duo-outfit into a fully-fledged six piece live pop and dance music group in 2001. Since its expansion Misty maintained its professionalism and popularity among all circuits of the Colombo society. Emerging to become the most wanted Band in town to cater to the top cooperate functions dinner dances and entertainment events, Misty reached the international arena that had taken them to great heights.

Misty comprises of Rajitha Rupasinghe band leader/ manager and main vocalist, Merlina Fernando – female vocalist, Sudath Munaweera – guitar/ vocals, Udaya Welikala – keyboard/ vocals, Sanjeeva Hettige – bass / vocal and Dennis – drums.

Marians – under the leadership of musician and popular TV personality Nalin has been doing wonders during the last two and a half decades. Incidentally Marians are celebrating the 25th year in the industry , which itself is a great achievement. Nalin is ably supported by Shiwantha Fernando – vocal,Prasanna Rosa – guitar, Ruwan Fernando – guitar (Pioneer member of the band), Chaminda Silva – bass, Subash Punyasoma – drums, Dileepa Mangala – keyboards and Jayantha Kandabadage on percussion. Music lovers are invited for the memorable Show at Musaeus College. This event will certainly create history in the local music industry.
