View(s):Trinitian Heshan Unamboowa has been synonymous with Sri Lankan aquatics for the past decade. In 2010 he earned the tag as champion swimmer in the island.
He represented Dhaka South Asian Games setting a new South Asian record, Delhi Commonwealth Games as well as the 2010 Asian Games in Doha Qatar and Guangzhou China.
Heshan had the rare distinction of leading the Sri Lankan delegation in the first ever Youth Olympics in Singapore.
Now his aim is to be the first Sri Lankan swimmer to enter Olympics on the standard selection criteria.
Ranga Balasuriya Managing Director of Glory Sports has been a supportive partner to Heshan throughout his swimming career and will equip him for the 2012 London Olympics with the latest technical swim gear that will help our nation’s pride perform to the best of his abilities.
