St. Anthony’s in danger of relegation

Vidyartha played their customary second half game to beat the Antonians by 32 points (3 goals, 1 try, 2 penalties) to 13 (2 tries and a penalty) at Nittawela last evening. At the break the scores were tied at 8 all.

Skipper Jason Dissanaike (2), Anura Perera (1) and Ravindra Upul touched down. Chamath Fernando put over the conversions.

Vidyartha piled on the points in the second half, and the Anthonians slid to their sixth defeat.
Anthonian scorers were Mohammed Ali and Eranga Rambukwella, while the conversions were by Gehan Wanigasekera. With this defeat, the Antonians are in great danger of relegation.
