Moratuwa ‘Y’ bags best YMCA Award for 2nd time

YMCA, Moratuwa bagged the best YMCA Award- 2011 at the Annual General Meeting of the National Council of YMCAs of SriLanka (NCYSL) held recently at Subodhi Piliyandala.This is the 2nd consecutive time that Moratuwa ‘Y’ won this coveted Award donated by Y’s Men’s International, SriLanka Region.

It also carried away the award for ‘Best Governance- 2011’ while Sampath Fernando (General Secretary –Moratuwa ‘Y’) received a certificate of merit for Best Professional of the year. The following Members of the Board of Directors won certificates of commendation and merit Awards for Voluntary leadership over the years.- Nimal Dias, Lasla Fernando, JSA Fernando, Malindra Fernando and Newton Perera.
