‘Paan Paan’ is run by Lanka Premier Foods (Pvt) Ltd, the agent in Sri Lanka for Bakels ingredients. The company actively promotes and sells Bakels ingredients to bakeries in Sri Lanka. Bakels is a Dutch brand of quality bakery ingredients.

“Speciality breads are not that popular in Sri Lanka,” says the director of Lanka Premier Foods (Pvt) Ltd, Aboo Yosoof. “We opened Paan Paan with the hope that we can reach out to a wider market and be the market leader in speciality breads. Our product quality is ensured as we make today and sell today. “

At Paan Paan you will find the Spanish Bartusa Bread -a soft Spanish bread made with a touch of black pepper, topped with cheese, bell pepper and black olives, Italian Focaccia Bread made with butter, olive oil, eggs, garlic, rosemary and olives, and Ciabatta Bread made with fermented dough and olive oil which are both great for sandwiches and best with a filling and grilled, the African Purple Wheat Bread made out of South African Purple Wheat, not forgetting the popular French Baguette which has a distinct and unique flavour here. They also have the Country Herbs bread for those who like a bit of spice made with minced onion, whole basil, dried marjoram, parsley and chives.

For those inclined to sweet treats, their muffins include orange and poppy seed muffin, rich chocolate chip muffin, blueberry muffin made with Belgian blueberries and delicious coffee buns.
