Venture Global International offers a personalised overseas student placement service

Deciding on higher education is a big step in any students life, deciding which courses and universities to attend becomes a major part of the decision making process. Moving to a country they may never have been to, for studies is yet another huge step that requires a lot of research.

Venture Global International is an organisation specialising in providing student placements who face such a dilemma. They offer placements at a variety of leading universities mainly in Malaysia and Australia. Having begun operations in March, earlier this year, Venture Global International focuses on being more than a student placement service.

Venture Global International offers student placement for top-international universities such as Monash Malaysia, Sunway Universty, University of Lancaster (UK), Limkokwing University, University of Western Michigan (USA), and Deakin University (AUS). They also offer student placement for all levels of study, undergraduate, graduate and also offer placements for Ph.D. students as well. Student placements are also offered for various fields including from engineering, aeronautical engineering, business management to science.

Chairman of Venture Global International Mr. Hapangama said “We do have scholarships on offer up to seventy-five percent of the tuition fees and we are directly in communication with the universities. We also help our students with the Visa application procedure. Our services are completely free of charge.”
Venture Global International stands apart from other similar student placement advisors, in the fact that they offer student counselling as well. “We have a welfare officer whose main task is to maintain a follow-up record with our students. We talk to the parents and provide advice and guidance to the students” said Mr. Hapangama.

Students interested in pursuing their studies in Canada also have the option of following the Canadian foundation level (Canadian International Matriculation Programme) in Malaysia at a fraction of the amount it would cost to study in Canada. Students also have the option of beginning their studies in Malaysia and then transferring to the parent University or any other university at any time during the course of their studies.

r.Hapangama added “I myself did my studie at Sunway University in Malaysia and then in Australia and once I came back to Sri-Lanka I wanted to provide a service that will help students to ease the transition when they leave the country for university. We talk to the students to identify their targets and goals and we advice them as to what their next step should be to achieve those targets. So we are able to identify the students’ expectations and prepare them better for university”

“I strongly believe that education is the most valuable item an individual can possess and nobody can ever steal it away from you. So you need to be sure you get the best education and for that you need to work with the right people” added Mr. Hapangama.
